Anyone have any ideas on summer outings for a 6 year old?
Some ideas I have already are water park, circus, children’s museum, pottery painting, swim lessons, indoor park, zoo, pony ride…..
Shes an only child so I want to give her a lot to do over summer so she wont be bored.

Tye-dye shirts
Get a big canvas and let her paint it for her room
Chalk
Libraries have lots of activities for summer as well as the city (just go to the city website)
Movies
Bowling
Miniature golf
amusement park
If money is not really a concern then the doors open up more-
disneyland
Build-a bear workshop etc.
Also, just take pictures of what she did that day and let her scrapbook the memories for a fun photo album. Go to a local craft store and let her choose aper, stickers, stamps etc. and have a blast making her own Personal book.

sounds like you have a full list already. i am doing all the same with my 2 young ones but i would also throw in some play dates so that she is still use to being around and sharing with other kids before school starts back up.

Also, some places have summer camp for children that age. That all depends on if you would trust having your child in summer camp and if he or she would feel comfortable going to camp.
